One of my friends, Janet recently contacted me to ask what did I think of sleeping out to raise money for homelessness in the middle of October - I responded 'Cold!!'

Ending poverty and homelessness is something I am passionate about, so I did not hesitate at taking Janet up on her request. It is sad and unjust that in the 21st Century we are seeing increasing levels of homelessness.

As someone who does not even camp, this will definitely be a challenge! Whilst this is just one night and cannot be compared to what it must be like for the thousands of homeless across the UK, hopefully through your sponsorship, I can make a difference, however small, to people who find themselves in this position.
