East Sussex WRAS was established as a voluntary group in 1996, but founder Trevor Weeks has been rescuing wildlife since 1985. The charity was set up to provide a front-line rescue & hospital service for people finding wildlife casualties as well as offering advice and information.

Story

I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on the 2nd April for East Sussex Wildlife rescue, I want to give back to them as we have called them out a few times for injured birds and hedgehogs and their service which is completely free was outstanding. The care and passion for the animals they take in to look after and support until they are well enough to be released. They rely entirely on donations to keep the rescue service going & rescue anything from small birds to badgers and deer!! I chose this charity as I am a huge animal lover and wanted to help a smaller local charity. Please donated whatever you can no matter how small, it all makes a huge difference! Thank you x
