Property Race Day · 8 July 2022

WellChild is the national charity for seriously ill children. Thousands of children live with complex medical needs. Many spend months, or years in hospital because there is no support enabling them to leave. We exist to give these children the best chance to thrive: at home, with their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In July this year I will be taking part in the Property Race Day's Charity Race. Together with a group of other property professionals, I will be racing a straight mile at Ascot to raise money for very worthwhile charities. Alongside WellChild money will also be raised for LandAid, Trusts for African Schools, Dusty Yak and Chernobyl Children in Need. Any donations (no matter how big or small) are massively appreciated towards these fantastic charities.

About Wellchild

Through a range of practical and emotional support, training and information programmes, WellChild gives seriously ill children and their families the best chance to thrive. At home.

More than 100,000 children and young people are estimated to be living with serious health needs across the UK. Many spend months, even years in hospital because there is no support enabling them to leave. Those who are at home are constantly challenged by inadequate support. Our vision is for every child and young person living with serious health needs to have the best chance to thrive - properly supported at home with their families.

About me

Having grown up in the traditional Irish background of horses and point to point's, I have been involved with horses my entire life. I currently own the wonderful Thundercat (the grey pictured) with whom I compete on a local level at show jumping and dressage. Retraining to obtain my Jockey licence will involve a lot of dedication, hard work and the sourcing of better balance! This has begun and I will be keeping you updated on here with my progress.
