Lost Hours Walk · 26 October 2019 to 27 October 2019 ·

When it hurts we talk. When the clocks go back we walk. 11pm, Sat 26 October: Time to unite against suicide. As time goes backwards, we're walking forwards to campaign against feeling shit, against struggling in silence, against living miserably.

Story

The Lost Hours walk is our first CALM event and our opportunity to deal with grief differently and defiantly, and to help because we need to get the message out about Suicide.

When a loved family member dies your left with an overwhelming feeling of loss and heartbreak, but when it’s your beautiful 34 year old Son and he has lost his life by Suicide.

The pain is unimaginable !! The thoughts of what did I do wrong, not care for him enough, talk to him enough, help with his future plans, laugh with him, cuddle him. All these things which I can’t change now, because I can’t TALK to him anymore.

So please help us to help The CALM Zone, so they
are able to TALK to young men like Christopher in
their time of need.
Thank you Nicola (Mum) Mandy and Gems.

We loved him so much.

The Lost Hours walk wants to smash the silence around loss, and remember our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and friends out on the streets of London. Be part of it. Walk with us from Greenwich to Big Ben and back again to make change happen, and continue to grow our life-saving services. We have created the Lost Hours Walk for everyone who has lost someone to suicide, or who cares, as we do, about the thousands of lives lost every year. This will be a chance to come together with friends, family and other CALM supporters to remember, celebrate, take action and fundraise. The event will take place overnight on 26 October 2019, the night the clocks go back.
