Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I wasn’t going to run for charity, but decided I may as well. I chose the Children’s Bereavement Centre as my siblings and I suffered a bereavement after our Father suddenly died just before my 14th birthday. My siblings were aged just 12 and 7 at the time. There were all sorts of traumatic events and experiences leading up to this sudden event, mainly stemming from mental health illness and addiction. I feel if we had been offered access to vital services such as this, years worth of issues may have been avoided and the impact and consequences of this traumatic experience greatly reduced.
