We are taking part again this year in Belfast City marathon to raise money for Mencap a charity that is very close to our hearts. We are doing this in memory of my best boy Odhran who we lost on Christmas day 2016.

For anyone with a learning disability Mencap provides services that are life changing. When Odhran first joined the nursery he couldn't walk and was completely non verbal. With the encouragement of the staff and their support to us as a family Odhran was soon on his feet and communicating better than we could have imagined. This support was invaluable to us and is something we will never forget. They encouraged our boy to live his life to the full in the short time we had him here.
