Thank you for taking the time to look at this.
When I was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer early last year, it felt wrong to raise money for brain tumour charities. It seemed like asking friends and family to help fund me.
18 months on, I recognise how much research in this field matters - and how much I have benefited from the research that has gone before.
So I am now asking you to help raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity. The funds will support research that might offer some hope to those who will be diagnosed with brain tumours in years to come.
I will be walking with friends and family as part of an organised Twilight Walk. Do join us, if you can. If you can't, please give generously! I receive the results of my latest brain scan three days before we walk. But I will be walking whatever the news.

PS Since diagnosis, I have been supporting and fundraising for two charities whose work has personal importance for me - Brook and the Uganda Cancer Trust UK. Feel free to give them money too!Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
