As some of you may or may not know our Daughter/Granddaughter Maci was born profoundly deaf. This was thankfully detected at her newborn hearing screening and because it was detected so early we have been able to support Maci the best we can with lots of help from the National Deaf Children's Society. Maci is doing very well and is currently communicating through sign which trust me is the cutest thing ever. 

Maci is very lucky and has been given the green light for Cochlear Implant surgery on the 8th March 2022. This is by no means an easy cure for her deafness but will give Maci access to sound and give her the choice on how she can communicate either through speaking/listening, signing or both. 

Colin has just celebrated his 50th birthday in February and had said he didn't want anything for his birthday just for people to make a donation to charity if they wanted. This is what first gave me the idea for the skydive, so I went online and booked it. Calum thought this was a great idea and he said he has always wanted to do one himself. So what better way than to pair them up and chuck them out of a plane at 12,000 ft all whilst raising money for this brilliant charity. 

The National Deaf Children's Society really have helped our family through this roller-coaster of a year so we would love to give them something back. 

The guys need to raise atleast £395 EACH before they can jump so let's do this!!!!
