Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We finished! Thanks to everyone for all their support.

Nigel is planning to cycle the length of Britain from John O'Groats to lands End in 9 days from the 12th June to 20th June 2010, he will be accompanied by his son Will.

The ride will be in aid of Help for Heroes, a charity which helps rehabilitate all those members of the Armed forces injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. This charity has a particular meaning as a member of staff at Radbrook Green surgery in Shrewsbury where Nigel works as a GP, is currently going through the trauma of helping her son Nick to come to terms with horrific injuries sustained in Afghanistan in Nov 2009.

The ride is organised and sponsored by Deloitte who are partnering Paralympics GB to raise money for their charitable cause. Paralympics GB visit servicemen who have been injured as these young men are highly motivated and can often be helped through their rehab by sport.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
