Newborns Vietnam · 24 April 2015

Saving babies from their first breath - advancing neonatal intensive care in Vietnam to help close the gap between developing and developed world standards of newborn care. Our work addresses the critical shortage of nurses, trained health workers and basic specialist lifesaving equipment.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We're going out as volunteers to work for Newborns Vietnam, a charity dedicated to improving the care of newborn babies in Da Nang, Viet Nam. We'll be out there for 8 weeks and our role will be to help teach, train and support the doctors working in their neonatal unit and to develop a follow-up programme for babies after they leave the unit.

We're raising money to buy some essential resuscitation equipment that all UK hospitals use routinely, but is not readily available in Da Nang Hospital. We'd be really grateful if you would consider donating some money to this project.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
