While most of you know I can and have swum further than this it will be the first full swim challenge for my new hip. The Solent has always held a fascination for me and is slightly bonkers like me.

I am swimming for the Samaritans because they make this swim happen. I am lucky to have never been in a place that I have considered taking my own life and have amazing family, friends and colleagues like you to support me. Your donation will help support someone who has no-one except the Samaritans to turn to.
