I'm running the Royal Parks half marathon in memory of my truly wonderful Dad. He fought cancer so bravely and with such dignity, but lost his fight in January this year. 

We have been devastated by his loss. Cancer is such a cruel, unfair disease that will sadly touch all of our lives at some point.

All of the people who cared for my Dad did as much as they could to help him beat his illness. But more research is needed to truly give many others a fighting chance.
