Did you know that 1 in 4 girls have been sexually abused by the age of 18?? It doesn't bare thinking about does it. With 3 children, 2 of which being girls It terrifies me, which is why I have decided to do some fundraising. 

The younique foundation and defence innocence are the charities which provide hope to women who have been sexually abused as children or adolescents by providing healing services through retreats, support groups and online resources. 

They also enpower parents, caregivers and communities to protect children from sexual abuse through educating, online resources and opening up dialog to help increase confidence with open conversations and social awareness.

I have chosen £2000 as my fundraising target over the next 6 months as this is how much it costs for 1 retreat place with the younique foundation. I would love to raise this amount. 

MAY - I will be running 100 miles in May as the start of my fundraising quest.

OCTOBER - Birmingham Half Marathon
