All Family + dog picking Litter in Woodlands Park, Maidenhead · 15 February 2021

The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) is the foremost local organisation protecting wildlife and enhancing iconic landscapes in these three counties. We look after over 80 nature reserves, speak up for wildlife and inspire thousands of children to discover the joys of the natural world.

Story

We are a family of  five including the dog and we go for loads of walks sometimes seeing piles of rubbish everywhere. We have seen loads of films about nature (mostly by David Attenborough)  where  they say "rubbish is bad to our earth as it destroys and kills animals" . All of us wanted to take an action to support effort in preserving our nature.

During the week of 15th of Feb we will spend 2hours 15 mins (as part of Paula's TWO - 15 Challenge) collecting rubbish in Woodlands park and around Foliejohn way in Maidenhead.

Update:

  • 15th Feb - 45mins done ! More to go! (1.5 bags of rubbish collected).
