The Berry Head Reserve Team is taking part this November to help raise money for the Friends of Berry Head. The Reserve Team will be growing moustaches for the month of November to delight, entertain and raise awareness – so please donate whatever you can! 

The money raised for the Friends of Berry Head will be used for community-based projects. Previous projects have included a community pond, a raised walkway and a pond for school groups.

 

The Friends take part in fundraising activities to develop projects across the site that benefit all of the community across all ages.

The Friends of Berry Head are an independent group of volunteers from the local community with a passion and pride in Berry Head National Nature Reserve

Their principle aims are:

·         To protect, conserve and enhance Berry Head National Nature Reserve as a place of freedom, recreation and enjoyment for the long term benefit of all sections of the local community

·         To gather input from local people and representative groups to protect and enhance the landscape, wildlife and archaeology of Berry Head NNR
