This year, Nomura’s cyclists will take on their most challenging ride to date – cycling 485km and climbing over 9,100m across some of the Alps most fearsome climbs in just three days. Starting in Geneva, the ride will cross some of the world’s most breath-taking and difficult climbs – including the highest paved pass in Europe – The Cime de la Bonette (which may well be snow-covered in September at over 2800 metres high).

Whilst we are mostly experienced cyclists, this is a challenge the scale of which none of us have faced for a long time, and some are having nightmares about!

This event will fundraise for our new charity partner, Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO). SEO’s mission is to prepare and support talented students from underrepresented backgrounds for career success and we look forward to seeing as many colleagues as possible take part in what promises to be a grueling yet once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
