Hi Everyone,

I've been a part of the Cycling4Gaza ride for a while now, with this year's ride being my 8th in a row.

Many people ask why... Yes I do love cycling, yes I do enjoy seeing new places and yes the fellow riders are great people to spend time with. But none of these are the essential reason behind my taking part in the rides.

The rides raise invaluable funding for the charities that we partner with each year. This year we are supporting Medical Aid for Palestinians. The amazing work they have done for so many years now and will inshala continue to do so is an inspiration for all of us. Allowing us to support them through our cycling is a great privilege and indeed for me it is the core reason for doing this.

I don't need to talk about how essential their work is, or how bad the situation in parts of Palestine are. All I want to say is that I am doing because I feel passionately about the cause, and I hope you can allow me to make a difference by supporting me.
