Story
In May our little cousin Albert was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. He underwent many tests, procedures and hospital stays before commencing a grueling treatment schedule often staying a long way from home. Throughout this ongoing journey the "beads of courage " have helped him and his family. For each procedure that Albert has he gets given a bead. So far Albert has 200 beads. These beads will help enable him when he is older to come to term's with his cancer journey. We hope that our fundraising efforts will help the charity to support other families too and to continue to increase awareness of childhood cancer.
Throughout September (childhood cancer awareness month) we will all be aiming to cycle, walk and run our own combined distances, colouring in beads for each mile along the way! Hugo 30 miles, Edward 50 miles, Elizabeth (and bump!) 100 miles and Richard 200 miles. Any sponsorship, however small, would be much appreciated.
Thank you 😊
