On 22nd August 2013 Northwood sadly lost a friend and colleague, Nick Cooper, to Pancreatic Cancer, aged just 50. 

On 26th September 2014 Northwood's 'Famous Five' will be travelling to Tanzania in Nicks memory to join an expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro.

An experienced adventure company will lead us up the mountain, and we are climbing to raise funds to help to defeat pancreatic cancer by funding and promoting innovative, world-class research into the disease - research that will lead to the development of more effective detection, diagnosis and treatment.
