19/06/16 15 years ago today my father passed away. St Joseph's Home has a hospice bed and this allowed him to come nearer home for his last few days before he passed. Prior to this , when we were young kids I remember almost every Sunday we went here after mass to visit my grand father, gran aunts and neighbours. Then I spent two/ three weeks here doing voluntary work.
For these reasons I choose to cycle the rok and fund raise for St Joseph's Home,Killorglin.
