NurtureYou Yoga offers friendly online yoga, including Chair Yoga, for 'Every-body'. Over the past year, subject to government guidance, we have taught Chair Yoga one-to-one and to small groups of older people. This has been immensely rewarding  and very well-received. With Lockdown 3 upon us, we are launching an online Introduction to Chair Yoga in aid of Age Concern Hampshire starting Mon 25th January 2021, 11-11.30am.

Age Concern Hampshire are passionate about supporting older people throughout Hampshire and they need us now more than ever. With the Coronavirus outbreak we recognise that older people are one of the groups most at risk. Many are voluntarily self-isolating through fear of contracting the deadly virus. Our Day / Social Care provisions have been temporarily reduced to protect the health and safety of clients. We have introduced enabling services offered for older people in their homes to prevent social isolation and loneliness while ensuring the health and well-being of elderly people. We are calling on supporters to donate towards our emergency campaign to help us provide provisions such as Home Visits, In-home Support and Mobility programmes to alleviate the impact of COVID19. Donations will go towards whatever is needed such as coordinating regular telephone check-ins as well as home visits, shopping trips and general domestic support if required.
