Fundraising for Project Harar

I have set up this Just Giving page in order to help provide supplementary food for the patients being treated on this years Project Harar Surgical mission.
Project Harar treats patients with Facial disfigurements. The patients being treated find it difficult to eat due to their disfigurements and are often extremely malnourished. This year has been particularly tricky due to the drought in Ethiopia, therefore making it even harder for them to get hold of food.
The money raised so far has helped buy nutritional food supplements which are greatly in need, including fruits, eggs, high energy biscuits and powdered nutritional shakes. The patients will be given the food in the weeks before and after surgery in order to make the children and young people stronger.
A little money can go a really long way. Just £5 can buy enough fruit for 20 children for a day! Any donations however small can have a huge positive impact on the patients and their families.
I am now back in the UK from Ethiopia, it was an absolutely life changing experience. I spent time with the patients before and after their operations, and was fortunate enough to see the end results of some.
The mission is still running for another week. I will be continuing to fundraise as i have seen first hand how all the money donated makes a huge difference to the patients lives. I want to continue to support Project Harar in their amazing work so all donations from now on will go to all necessary needs for the patients. Please see some photos i have added below.
