I am taking part in the June 2019 "Cotswold Way Challenge"  which is a 50km walk through the Cotswold's for Dementia UK.

I have chosen this particular charity as my grandad now lives his life with Dementia and has done for some years. It is truly heartbreaking to see someone you love change and become someone who is plagued by confusion, frustration and emotion

Our family is the biggest and has been the best support system for my nan & grandad throughout the past years but unfortunately for some people they will not have the support system they may need to cope when caring for someone with dementia. Dementia UK offers one to one support and expert guidance to families, helping them to live with dementia in the present and to face the challenges of tomorrow with more confidence and less fear.
