Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Earlier this year Joseph was challenged by his dad to do something to raise money for charity. A plan was quickly hatched.
So on Monday 28th May Joseph Schorah (13yo) and a junior member will play 100 holes at Breadsall Priory. He will be joined by On Course Foundation beneficiary Alex Hiles who was discharged from the Parachute Regiment after being blown up in Iraq. Alex plays golf to support his wellbeing, it keeps him physically and mentally active and has a playing handicap of 10.
The challenge will start around 4am and finish around 10pm, this will be physically and mentally challenging for all participants.
They will be joined by staff and members of the club. From the staff, Director of Golf Steve Turner, and Luke Speed. From the members, Men’s Captain Dennis Hill, Tom Fletcher, Joseph’s dad Mark who is head of OCF’s events and employment programmes.
As well as donating to the charity there is also a competition in the golf shop to predict the team’s total score at the end of the day.
