Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

A little known fact about Hull is that it is the least forested city in the UK. Together HUll & The East Riding have only 2.6% woodland cover against a national average of 8.4%.

The One 'Hull' Of a Forest (OHOF) aims to correct that and put the city backon the map for its reforestation efforts, as part of the governments Northern Forest Initiative to plant 50 million trees along the M62 corridor. A total of 641 sites have been identified in Hull to plant trees.

"The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you will never sit" - Nelson Henderson.

The project is managed by The PATT Foundation, UK Registered charity number: 1117158.
