Leap: Confronting Conflict is a great charity that concentrates on reducing conflict amongst the young community.

OMGI are keen to not only support the charity through our fundraising efforts, butare also working with them to provide better futures for young peoplestruggling with conflict within their lives by providing them with employabilityskills, self-awareness and responsibility to help garner positive futures forthose who would otherwise be heading down rocky paths.

Our successful intern from 2013, Aaron Jean-Baptiste, is a graduate of Leap’saccredited Quarrel Shop programme and has spoken about how he got involved with the charity: “During my latter secondary school life, conflict was at an all-time high, students were no longer engaged in learning and reputation became more desired than knowledge. Territorial battles would often break out which ultimately resulted in the loss of a close friend. Leap wanted to help students understand the benefits of knowledge, the repercussions of gang culture and ultimately how to articulate how we feel. They were not afraid to enter our school and engage with the students like most were. Leap is a charity willing to engage with young people, regardless of how others perceive them. ”

Aaron has witnessed first-hand the great work that the charity has undertaken andOMGI would like to support them as best as possible in carrying on helping tosupport young people to turn their lives around.  Please consider donatingif you’re a firm believer of supporting young generations struggling withconflict in their lives, whether it be from school, family/friends or personalissues.
