Gill Hazelby, Jamie's mum, died on 14 January 2009 aged just 41, she spent considerable amount of time at the Christie Hospital receiving treatment. 

Gill was so many things to so many people.
  
-    She was the ever loving dedicated wife
-    The passionately devoted mother
-    The always caring daughter and sister
-    The fun loving friend with that beautiful laugh that was unique in so many ways.
-    And the truly professional nurse

We are raising Funds for New PBT Unit in The Christie.

PBT:-
Proton Beam Therapy is a specialist form of radiotherapy that targets certain cancers very precisely, increasing success rates and reducing side effects - it is particularly appropriate for desperately ill children with cancer who need the very latest and safest radiation treatment.
Research is key to ensuring we improve patient outcomes and are at the forefront of designing future generations of proton beam therapy equipment and treatment.
Help us ensure that The Christie leads the way with research breakthroughs which could make this the most effective cancer treatment yet.
