In 2013 I lost my little cousin Sophie to a brain tumour. This amazing, sweet, beautiful girl worked so hard to raise money for her charity as she battled her illness. Even climbing a mountain doesn't come close to the strength and determination Sophie showed but I hope I can still contribute in some small way to the legacy this inspiring young girl left behind in the form of KissyPuppy; the Sophie Rolf Trust.

I also lost my sister-in-law in the same year to a brain tumour after a long illness. Ceri was a wonderfully kind woman and taken from us far too soon. Sufferers of brain tumours are often young, in fact; more people under 40 die from brain tumours than any other cancer, and it only through research that we will find better treatments and cures to stop so many young people from being taken away from us. In memory of Ceri we are also supporting Brain Tumour Research.
