Story

Hi, my name is Ola Syczyk and I'm 3rd-year physiotherapy student. I'd like to ask you for some help in raising money for Therapies Unite!

This great charity works hard to support people with disabilities living in Mexico. Rehabilitation plays a key part in improving people's quality of life. I'm hoping to help make that change in person with Therapy Unite in 2022, in the meantime I'd like to support them from the distance- by this fundraising. I very much appreciate any donations :) 


Cześć! Organizuję zbiórkę pieniędzy dla organizacji charytatywnej- Therapies Unite, która od wielu lat pracuje w Meksyku, gdzie skupiają się na pomocy osobą z różnymi niepełnosprawnościami. Pracownicy organizacji spotykają się z problemami takimi jak ubóstwo lub brak adekwatnej pomocy/opieki medycznej. Therapies Unite działają na wielu płaszczyznach, między innymi zapewniają zajęcia fizjoterapetuczyne z wykwalifikowanymi pracownikami.
W przyszłym roku mam nadzieję pracować z Therapies Unite osobiście w Puerto Vallarta, a w międzyczasie próuję wesprzeć ich finansowo organizując tą właśnie zbiórkę pieniędzy.

Therapies Unite works to improve the well-being, independence, integration and inclusion of people with disabilities living in Mexico. Our main aim is to support people who need help through the provision of skilled and qualified professional volunteers, dedicated specialist care, training and equipment. We work in deprived areas where poverty and limited medical care are a reality of everyday life. Through our support and professional expertise, we aim to make a long-lasting difference to people's lives while benefiting the wider community. All of the projects we run focus on empowering local people to set up or to develop existing services in order to help the local disabled community. As well as setting up and running our own independent projects, we also support the development of existing rehabilitation services at special needs schools, disabled children’s centres, physiotherapy clinics, elderly care homes and we also work with the local Government to improve access to therapeutic support, education and advice. We are always thinking about how we can make long term changes and through focusing on education and supporting local people we feel we are able to make the differences that are needed to help improve the lives of people with disabilities.
