Some of us were fortunate to be born to nice parents and family and have all the love, care and support needed to become independent, secure and even be lucky enough to have a choice of education, career and lifestyle.

Others were unfortunate to face much harder times, violence and homelessness from a very young age. Those young people were given a life but no support or proper foundation to enjoy a childhood or grow up feeling safe and secure. Tormented by uncertainty, or even worse mental or physical abuse, they were denied the joy, hope and ambition every child deserves.

We can change that! 

If we all care just a little bit, collectively we can build a support network for those children so they make the right choice in life and become the best version of themselves. 

I’ve been inspired by the Step by Step charity that has long been supporting kids who face homelessness. My commitment has been to start to train hard to raise money and help Step by Step to support as many kids as possible.

I will be doing a series of cycle races and the first one is the Dubai Spinneys 92 on 26th March, 2021.

It will be my first cycle race and all my efforts and determination to train and perform are dedicated to Step by Step.
