Story

Thank you for taking time to visit my page.

On Thursday 13th June 2013, Adam Lewis, Mike Brandon, Andrew Hall and myself will be completing the Longest Day Challenge in the aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The Challenge entails playing 72 holes of golf (that's 4 rounds) in one day and we'll be playing at Burnham Beeches Golf Club in Buckinghamshire.

For those of you who don't know, a round of golf normally takes about 4 hours, so to complete four rounds in a single day will be a great achievement. So we aim to start at 6am and finish when it gets dark! That will mean we will be playing non-stop for 16 hours!

My record is 54 holes (when I was 16) and that took all day!!  It is almost the length of a Marathon, but we are carrying bags, swinging clubs and walking up and down hills, so it will be no easy trek!

We have chosen to support Macmillan because all of us in the team has either lost a friend or family member to cancer or has somebody close to them currently suffering from cancer. To find out some more information about how Macmillan works please visit:

Thank you for any help you can give us, we have set our fundraising target at £400 so any support would be greatly appreciated!
