Story
There seems to be a three way split on what people think about me doing this:
1. You're nuts...why on earth are you doing that.
2. Wow you're so brave, what a great cause.
3. Is that all you're doing? How about doing a 10k run afterwards? (just one person in particular but I love his perspective)
So, why am I doing this?
Mainly because loved ones keep being picked off by the dreaded C- word. Treatment has come a long way and if we can help improve it, even marginally, let's go for it and try to help!
This is not about being brave, quite the opposite. It is about be afraid, for friends, for loved ones, for cancer patients worldwide. I don't know a single person who's life hasn't been affected in some way by cancer.
Yes, I should be doing a run, swim, ironman it is much more noble and involves a lot more effort, training etc. One step at a time, in the future I plan to get off my sizeable backside to make a difference. In the mean time PLEASE PLEASE donate as much as you can spare. Even a pound makes a difference!
On my part I will be donating a days wages...oh and banishing the 'ole barnet.
Head shave will take place in Pendeen on the 29th of February 2016.
February 3rd Update!
Having had time to mull this over, I have started having some worries. The main concern is that Lylie will be confused or scared, she will watch the head shave take place which I hope will help with the process. Overall I think this anxiety is an important part of doing something like this, I should be worried.
Thank you all for your donations so far, it's heart warming to see how many people think this is a great cause.

February 22nd update!
One week to go. Thank you to EVERYONE who has donated.
People keep asking me if I will be selling the hair, the answer is no, I will be donating it to the Princess trust who make wigs for children.
People keep asking if I'm nervous, well, I am a tad but it'll grow back (I hope).
Or you can text to donate!
