Update: I actually did it! I ran a half marathon! I'm tired and sore, but it was well well worth it and your donations and support really pushed me forward when I didn't think my legs would take me another step - so a big thank you for helping this great cause and for helping me. You're all golden. 

I'll be running for Maggie's Cancer Centres this October in the half marathon event of the Great Scottish Run. (Wipe that grin off your face...)

Maggie's is an incredible organisation who help those who have been diagnosed regain their footing. From being an understanding shoulder to lean on over a cup of tea, to providing workshops with make-up tips to counter the skin conditions that arise from treatment. 

If you are the 1 in 3, Maggie's is a place to meet others who are going through the same experiences, for your friends and family to get information and advice on how to support you; what you're going through. Cancer doesn't need to be an isolating experience thanks to these centres and the people who run and attend them.
