2019 has been an interesting one, I have spent April until October in the hospital and rehab due to a brain injury called Susac Syndrome. I thought I only had a migraine but it wasn't to be as simple as that, a very rare neuro-inflammatory condition was to be my fate. I have learnt so much about the brain and what it does, I couldn't walk, talk, my memories have gone (though some still come back), my executive function is low (didn't even know about that really, there are so many things which we all just take for granted, but it can disappear so easily), now I'm working with the community rehab team to put myself back together so this is part of it, taking part in the Headway walk and asking for you to donate, any money which is above the 245 will be donated to Charing Cross nurological ward because they were amazing, I cant even put into words how incredible they are and were with me
