I've done a couple of ten mile events now, and quite enjoy the whole distance running thing. There's something good about being that isolated runner with their headphones in pushing further or faster. It's either the challenge or the headspace from everything mad in the world-or both. So I figured If I can do ten miles ok the 26 shouldn't be too much more difficult-ha! Some of my work colleagues competed and did well last year, I was working and wishing I was running-so this year I will be.

Everyone who knows me knows how close I was to my Dad, and what an empty space it leaves in your life when someone like that leaves us, so if I can raise a few more pounds for Prostate cancer uk then all good.
