My fitness/well being journey over the past 4 years has been something I’ve nonetheless enjoyed, but also found very challenging. Losing 10 stone was hard, keeping it off has been harder. Now I am going to throw a marathon in there for good measure.

My chosen charity that I wish to raise money for is Solent Mind. They are Hampshire’s leading mental health support charity and this is a subject that is becoming ever more prevalent in these challenging times we find ourselves in.

The stats are there, and they are real. In fact, they are scary. I, and some of my closest friends, have been on the wrong end of losing a friend to their demons. Whilst this is something that isn’t going to stop happening over night. It is something that we can come together to fight against, there are people out there that are willing to listen to you, and even help you. 

I am doing this in memory of the people we have lost, but also the people who are struggling right now. You may feel like you’re in a dark place with no one to help, but you are not alone. Please reach out, the world is a much better place with you in it!💙
