Charity Horse Race at Newmarket · 30 May 2014

Many children and young people know little about the countryside and rural way of life. Its programme of educational initiatives will introduce them, and their teachers, to the beauty, importance and diversity of our rural heritage, inspiring them to become passionate about its future and protect it for future generations.

Story

Thank you for viewing this page.....at 6 foot 4 and 11 stone 7 you may be forgiven for thinking that the page is for a famine victim but it is in fact to raise money for the Countryside Alliance.

The Alliance is the voice of the countryside....the Alliance assists those that live and work in the country to evolve their traditional ways.

The Alliance provides the voice that can be heard in the corridors of power, thereby ensuring that a silent majority is not mute.

To gather funds for this cause my horse and I will be entered into the charity race at Newmarket on 30th May and yes you are correct 6 foot 4 and 46 years old are not the usual stamp of a jockey....so please give to charity!
