I didn't know anything about the Ronald McDonald House charity until recently, so maybe neither do you. In their own words: 
'At Ronald McDonald House Charities we provide free ‘home away from home’ accommodation at specialist children's hospitals across the UK, enabling families to stay close to their child and maintain a degree of normal family life.'

I found out about the charity because my friend Phil's baby George was born with some health difficulties and will be in and out of hospital for some time. Please take a moment to read Phil's blog: http://georgejonessite.com/

It will also show you how important Ronald McDonald House is.

So a few of us are running a half marathon next Sunday (that's almost 22k! Eek!) and thought it would be a good idea to use it as an opportunity to raise some money for an absolutely vital cause.
