Thank you for visiting our page. Dad and I are taking part in the 54-mile bike ride because we are passionate about helping find a cure for heart disease. Heart disease remains the world's biggest killer today, with 7 million people affected in the UK. Heart and circulatory diseases cause 25 percent of all deaths in the UK; one death every 3 minutes. 

The BHF is very special to us because they help my brother, Pierre, who was born with congenital heart disease. They work tirelessly, researching treatments to mend broken hearts. Since the BHF was established, the annual number of deaths from heart disease has fallen by more than half.
