Orla has decided to run a mile a day in February (I'm sure she will up it, when she realises how awesome she is!), she is raising money for OCD UK (I know, not Cats Protection, I was shocked too!!). She would be thrilled to raise anything, so if you can, throw a pound her way, she would be ever so grateful!

Now the serious bit, which I'm not that good at! Her chosen charity is extremely close to our hearts, Orla has struggled with OCD for a few years now. It's heartbreaking, and often debilitating. Behind closed doors, life for us as a family has been very difficult. Luckily we have some amazing friends (you absolutely know who you are), who have helped and supported us. Orla has also sought professional help, through homeopathy and counselling.

 I feel as though OCD is often taken a little too lightly, and people often say they are OCD because they keep a tidy house...I wish that was all it was. Orla is my favourite thing, ever, and we are there to help and support her, but some people aren't as lucky. She's come a long way...but there's still a way to go.
