I am Orla’s mum (also a piper) and this is Orla’s story...

I am 9 years old and I am the drum major in Manchester Community Pipe Band and also learning to play the bagpipes. I will be cutting at least 7 inches off my hair to donate to the Little Princess charity that makes wigs for children  who have lost their hair. I would also like to raise money for Eilidh’s Trust if I can as it’s a charity that is close to my heart as Eilidh was also in a pipe band just like me. I love  Ariana Grande and it made me sad when I heard about the arena bomb on 22 May 2017. I have taken part in band events supporting the charity and also the Manchester Massed Bands in May 2018. I would like to help all I can to remember those that were hurt or who died that night. Please give anything you can to help me reach my target 🐝
