Story

I am fundraising to raise much needed funds for MPN Voice. This charity does so much to help people with rare blood cancers called Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs), providing accurate information and support.

This charity is very close to my heart after being diagnosed with Essential Thrombocythemia (a type of MPN) in September 2021. As you can imagine, it has been a tough diagnosis to accept, however with the support of my amazing family and friends it has been made much easier. 2022 is a very busy year for myself, with both my 21st birthday and my University graduation. I have also set off on a new adventure to live and teach in Milan! I have decided to set an extra challenge to raise awareness for this cause.

My brother Daniel participated in the Leeds Half Marathon on the 8th May 2022. Unfortunately I sustained an injury to my ankle a week prior so was unable to participate. Now, my new challenge is the Manchester Half Marathon on 9th October 2022, with the support of Beth who will also be participating.

Please help us to fundraise as much as possible to help people like myself. MPN Voice fund research towards better treatments and hopefully one day to find a cure.

Please tick the Giftaid option! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
