Shirley and Chris were undertaking a tandem skydive on 25th May 2019 from 10,000 feet. This is something neither of us have done before. We saw this skydive advertised for Herriot Hospice Homecare and it inspired us to raise money for a great charity in our local area - which has supported friends in the past. 

Sadly Shirley found a breast lump and has had to a have double mastectomy  two weeks before our jump so we have had  to delay. This will be  going ahead in the near future as soon as she is well enough

We would have will be traveling to Bridlington on Saturday 25th May 2019 and undertaking our tandem skydive at around 10am.

But it’s back on  Saturday 28 th September 2019 

This is a great charity to support established by local people in Northallerton in 1992, Herriot Hospice Homecare provides free personalised care to enable people to live comfortably and with dignity in their own home during the last weeks of their life.

Each year, they support almost 600 people in the Hambleton and Richmondshire area through services including end of life care, bereavement support, respite care, befriending, complimentary therapy and a driving service.

This practical, emotional and psychological support not only supports patients, but also helps their families manage during a very difficult time.

In order to continue providing this service free of charge we need to raise one million pounds and we rely on the generosity of our local community to do this.
