I love my shorts and I wear them a lot. Going back to school in September I decided that I'd try and be a savage and set myself a challenge, to try and get away with wearing shorts for the whole school year. So that means wearing them in the sun, wind, rain and snow. 

Talking to my mum and dad we decided to make the challenge into a fundraising challenge and after looking for some charities we thought Alive and Kicking looked like a great charity. 

I love football, I play for Aston Villa and spend a lot of time playing football in my shorts! Football is a lot of fun and I think all children should be able to enjoy playing football as much as I do. 

Alive and Kicking make footballs in Africa, they print messages on them and then they give them to children to play with. They also give people jobs by teaching them how to make the footballs and then they train coaches to help children in their communities. You can also buy the footballs from their shop. 

By wearing my shorts everyday to school for a year I want to help to make lots of footballs for children to enjoy. Please help me if you can.
