Story
On the 8th of September 2013 I will be, along with Landscaping Manager John Vaughan attempting to complete the Iron Man Wales challenge in support of the Alder Hey Childrens charity and to help raise awareness of Lauryn Robinsons search for a bone marrow donor.
The Iron Man challenge which is held in Tenby is renowned to be in the top 3 of the toughest Iron Man distance triathlons in the world.
We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for Alder Hey as well as to help raise awareness for Lauryn who is a 7 year old from Mold currently battling an extremely rare form of cancer and is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant. Lauryns father has worked at P&A for 20 years and also Lauryns grandparents Val and Dave work with us here at the company.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
But most importantly if you are between 16 - 30 years old or know anyone who is and would be willing to be considered as a donor for Lauryn please sign up for the Anthony Nolan Trust register at www.anthonynolan.org and apply for a saliva kit to help us find a
match.
Thank you,
Steve Morgan
