I do so much travelling around the world, sometimes it's nice to stay close to home and do more than add to the world's jet fumes. So I've decided to kayak 140 miles along the River Thames from the beautiful Cotswolds to busy London over six long days in August. With several others, I'll be enduring the equivalent of a marathon a day and it's not as easy as it looks!
