The Pastoral and Environmental Network in the Horn of Africa (PENHA), founded in 1989, is an African inspired and led regional NGO, registered in the UK and headquartered in London. PENHA operates across the IGAD region, with country offices in Ethiopia and Somaliland. PENHA combines project implementation with research and policy analysis, focusing on pastoralism, rangelands and dry forests, and addressing broader development issues, with an emphasis on participation and inclusion.

Story

We are having a cultural evening on Saturday 3rd December from 6.00 to 10.00 p.m. at Resource for London, 356 Holloway Road, London N7 6PA.

Our Patron, Joanna Lumley, OBE, will be one of our Guests of Honour, along with Dr. Tekeste Ghebray, who as the former head of IGAD, the Intergovernmental Authority for Development in the Horn of Africa.

The programme consists of photos and art from the Horn, African food from the region, music and entertainment from East Africa, and an opportunity to network.

Entrance is £30 (£50 for couples) and  £15 for students or unwaged. (Please note - Gift Aid is not applicable.)
