A good friend of ours Nigel lost his wife Susan to breast cancer in 1994 leaving a 4 year old daughter.He set up the trust to enable health professionals in the North East to access the most up to date and cutting edge technologies in the research and treatment of breast cancer. Only this year they sponsored a nurse (who actually nursed Sue in 1994) to become a Macmillan nurse.

Our aim is to complete the Great North Run, although we've had a few injuries on the way! raise some funds for a brilliant charity and hopefully have a good day with the support of all of our friends and family.
