From 2nd - 9th June, Brian Ruddin will be undertaking 'The North Wales Pilgrim's Way'. Centuries ago, pilgrims in their thousands were finding their way to Bardsey Island, drawn there by stories of the special peace to be found at the edge of the western world – drawn to the place of the setting sun, with only the vast ocean between them and the unknown.

A massive trek of 130  miles from Basingwerk Abbey, Holywell, North Wales to Bardsey Island, Brian will be doing it alone and will be carrying everything in his pack - including his tent and bed for the night! He will, of course, be raising money along the way for Wales Air Ambulance.

Also, the POSSE  will be climbing Snowdon again on
June 16th! 55 members will be pushing themselves to reach the summit via the Rhyd Ddu path and descending via the Rangers. Many will be conquering personal challenges and others will be doing it in memory of loved ones. Please look out for our updates! Thank you...

2018 so far...

In 2017 the POSSE was set up to bring together a group of owners from Presthaven Beach Resort with a love of walking and all things social!

A number of members had a desire or a personal goal to climb Mount Snowdon but when the total number of members wanting to climb reached over 40, we quickly realised it was going to be a massive event and decided to try and make some money for a charity that was close to our hearts - Wales Air Ambluance.

Eventually, early one Spring morning in April 2017, 57 people of all ages and capabilities conquered not only their own fears and nervousness, but also the mountain and in the process, raised nearly £6,000 for Wales Air Ambulance.

After the success of last year's event, the POSSE  were on the road again! This year our challenge was called, THE LONG WALK HOME...

We aimed to walk from Llandudno Pier  to Presthaven Beach Resort - an epic distance of approximately 25 miles!!!  The walk took us along the Wales Coastal Path, over hills and on sandy beaches. Over 40 people took part and so far we have raised over £3,000! A massive thank you to those that have donated.
