Story

Hi all,

We’re holding a raffle at my work (Post Office – Finance Dept) to raise funds for a local London school for children with significant physical disabilities (link with videos and more details below).

We are aiming to raise £10k by March 2014. Currently we have raised £3.8k (via cake bakes, BBQ's etc) & £1k has been offered by our insurers.

We are selling raffle tickets at £2 a strip. The main prize (photo below) is a Hotel Chocolat Ostrich sized egg filled with chocolates worth £70. There are also 18 smaller eggs/baskets/alcohol as prizes.

If anyone would like to buy some raffle tickets, or know anyone who would like to help such an amazing and worthy school.

Once I have your donation I will contact you re your raffle ticket numbers.

Huge thanks in advance

Sarah

Richard Cloudesley School admits pupils with educationally significant physical disabilities from several north London boroughs, including Islington, Hackney, Hammersmith & Fulham, Brent, Barnet, Enfield, Haringey, Newham, Westminster, the City of London, Camden and Tower Hamlets.

Before admission an initial assessment of the child's learning and medical/therapeutic needs is carried out. Parents/carers play an important role in this process and are invited to visit the school, talk to the Headteacher, see the class into which their child may be admitted and talk to the appropriate staff. The final decision to admit a pupil into the school is made by the Special Needs Panel of the London Borough of Islington.
